On second thought, i know i have been MIA. well, it's the time of the sem again for me as it is for most of u. Assignments and tests..... Just handed one in today. another one to strike of my list. umm, well, not the end of it..there is still work that needs to be done.

Monday got test summo...sighh!! and being sick while having to study and do assignment is not funny at all....nope..totally not.

Wish me luck! all the best to those of u in the same boat or sitting for their finals now.
for now, it's back to work.

I did my part... (=
to save the earth
way before 8.30 pm tonight, i switched off my lights
i've turned off all lights in my apartment

it's a breezy night...
initially, i planned to have a long warm slow bath as i wasn't able to work with the lights off
in the end, i ended up with a glass of wine, few scoops of ice-cream with choc sauce, a slice of my birthday cake and a good girl company
afterall, a girl would never complain having a good girl company
sighhh..i miss my girls
i miss hanging out with them n spending quality girl time
even if it means just doing nothing, bumming around or talking crap
eventually, i couldn't finish the cake so i had to put it back into the fridge
as i opened the fridge, the dim orangy light aided me as i searched for a place to slot in my unfinished slice
i'm grateful for energy and electricity
it really helps us live conveniently that at some point, we usually take them for grated


Earth Hour is a good cause. should be held more often..



Okay, shower time. Nice long warm bath...here i come :)
i know i still owe pics..spare me pls.. test on monday..huhuhu..and my day has been quite unproductive. :S

Anywayz, I just realized how Swinburne Sarawak looks like now. Yes yes... i know..very very outdated and slow. I knew they had a grand opening a few weeks back. If any of you are also wondering how it looks like NOW... Alex's Blog has pictures about it.

Finals are near (in a weeks time actually) and here I am posting this. *SHucks!*
Can't get myself to focus because i get easily distracted or keep falling asleep.
Been having and still am having coffee nearly everyday now to keep me up. *sighz*
My parents and siblings are in China now..yes, enjoying the Great Wall of China while I'm stuck here supposedly burying myself with books. If it hadn't for my finals, I would have catch a plane and fly halfway round the world to meet them in China. *sobz* HmmmPhh!!!


Nowadays, it seems like what i see and do has got to do with books. Yes, books and books alone!
Books are my current love. I hope they love me too cos i really need what's in them to help me get through this sem.

Okie...back to my books. (:

After contract law test today, we went to the airport to send sunnie off and to say our goodbyes. Today is the day sunnie is leaving for KL.Aiyoh..this gal arh..u noe, we were all there earlier than her as if we were the ones boarding the plane. She herself pula came later than us. still have to wait so long for her...lol. sun, cannot be like dat anymo. Go to uni already..haha..Hmm, at this hour she should already reached KL. Hope she adapts well there and all the best to her. =) Keep in touch gurl!

Soooo far, CA test was....was... erm, how to say arh? Erm, i answered most of it the questions but not too sure if i did it right. Owh..and theory part..i dunno how to write. This time, even my creativity wont help. Lol. how to write "berbunga-bunga" for corporate acc?hahaxx. Then today, my contract law, it's open book. yes..open book. supposedly sounds easy aite..? hoho but, even with books opened, i cant be entirely sure if what i wrote is right or what my lecturer wants to see.and, mine wasnt as long as the others. probably the shortest of them all. Sigh. haiyah..so "fan" la....Hmpph! i only hope i can pass all 4 subjects. Im not asking more. next test is MDM on fri and the last one will be e-biz on monday. Wish me luck readers~

Of chairs and police cars

I was in council room this afternoon asking kai to explain some things to me. All of a sudden, Roy, I think, came bursting into the room telling us a fight had just occurred downstairs. According to him, some guys were throwing chairs and hitting one another. One party, if I didn’t hear wrongly, was a bunch of international students. Fabiola who was also there, wanted to go down and see but the guys told us when things like this happen, we should stay away and mind our own business. Not long after it happened, we saw many ppl including the management and of cos, there was Maggie who were among the many crowding in front of the canteen. Later, someone shouted that the police were here. So all of us kepo ppl, rushed to the window only to catch the glimpse of the police car driving off escorted by our swinburne’s unser. Lolx. Scary le. The management must have called the police. I think all my time in swin, this is the first fight which involved the police. Waaaah...What an afternoon.

Btw, swinburne’s lift has started functioning today. Like other typical days, I didn’t bother to check the lift out and took the stairs. Not many people knew bout it so they were also happily climbing as its operations had been delayed due to insufficient power supply in da’ campus. Oh yeah...we get a lot of that. Be it black out in the mid of classes or the power supply goes off when u are happily doing your assignment and forget to save form time to time, u name it. Swinburne students have faced them all. Anywayz, when I was in sch this afternoon, Ah Lik told me that the elevator is better off not repaired. Haha…the indicator which shows the elevator’s status each floor went haywire and wasn’t working. Lol. And some even said the elevator got stuck and the door did not open and stuff like that. Mr. Omar even told Teresa to be careful when sing the lift causing her to be a lil’ paranoid after that and told us to accompany her. ). We were all so happy to hear bout the lift being able to function again (esp Teresa who was happily announcing it this morning) but already heard so many complaints during its first day of operation. SighZ. What are all these? I thought they spent lotsa money and time, OUR time for that matter (practically forcing us to do our daily ration of exercise).The saddest are those who have classes on the 8^th floor and have to climb all the way up for only freaking 2 hours. Oh, that goes out to me too. And oh…some don’t dare to use the lift as they were afraid of getting stuck halfway between floors (which happened before) whereas some even told me, “Climb faster, after all we were already trained for nearly one whole sem.” Lolx..! Yeah…we were practically trained to climb since the beginning of the sem. One tip: If u scared of this and that or in a hurry, take the stairs. Trust me; they do make a great difference. If not, welcome to take the lift.
