a reason.a season.a lifetime

"People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do."

People come into your life for
a Reason
a Season
or a Lifetime.

When you know which one it is,
you will know what to do for that person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.

They have come to assist you through a difficulty,
to provide you with guidance and support,
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend and they are.

They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then,
without any wrongdoing on your part
or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something
to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met,
our desire fulfilled, their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered
and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it, it is real.
But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons,
things you must build upon in order
to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson,
love the person
and put what you have learned to use
in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being a part of my life,
whether you were a Reason, a Season or a Lifetime.

with love,
-xoxo-

can u hear the earth cry?

Thought of the day :
" Fear isn't an excuse to come to a standstill. It's the impetus to step up and strike."

I did my part... (=
to save the earth
way before 8.30 pm tonight, i switched off my lights
i've turned off all lights in my apartment

it's a breezy night...
initially, i planned to have a long warm slow bath as i wasn't able to work with the lights off
in the end, i ended up with a glass of wine, few scoops of ice-cream with choc sauce, a slice of my birthday cake and a good girl company
afterall, a girl would never complain having a good girl company
sighhh..i miss my girls
i miss hanging out with them n spending quality girl time
even if it means just doing nothing, bumming around or talking crap
eventually, i couldn't finish the cake so i had to put it back into the fridge
as i opened the fridge, the dim orangy light aided me as i searched for a place to slot in my unfinished slice
i'm grateful for energy and electricity
it really helps us live conveniently that at some point, we usually take them for grated

Earth Hour is a good cause. should be held more often..

Okay, shower time. Nice long warm bath...here i come :)
i know i still owe pics..spare me pls.. test on monday..huhuhu..and my day has been quite unproductive. :S

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!!!!

For those with their loved ones this year, appreciate each and every moment. I was recently reminded of a phrase which was, “ Appreciate each and every moment of your life, wherever u are, whatever u are doing and with whoever it is as this moment will not return. Even if it does, it will definitely be a different one.”

Singles out there, don’t be despair. Love is in the air. Go out and have some fun tonite and who knows?? Cupid might just strike his arrow onto you. LOL…Okay Nevermind my crappiness and lame-ness. *bluexx*

Anywayz, with the recent going-ons in Melb, I figured this is the least I could do especially on this special day. While others are out in the fanciful restaurants with their loved ones this evening, clutching on to bouquets, chocolates and lollies, there are many that are still on the road to recovery. Some are still grieving due to their current lose of their loved ones and homes in the recent bushfire. Valentine’s day this year will definitely be heartbreaking and sombre for these mourners. This special day will undoubtedly pierce through hearts of many as they reminisce the dreadful tragedy. Please keep these families whose loved ones have been robbed off their lives in your prayers.

I am currently listening to – Love Story by Taylor Swift

Love the video. Taylor’s gorgeous!!!

Love Note: To every single person who has stepped into my life, you have left footprints in my heart and I am thankful that we’ve crossed paths. I am really thankful for each and everyone of you albeit for some of you, we’ve only crossed paths a short while. Thank you for making memories in my life. I love u all to bits!!

Hugs and Kisses

- xoxo

:::Tragic:::

* May the souls of the ones that lost their lives at Lundu three days ago rest in peace. Real tragic, real sad...no one wants it to happen that way. Their parents will definitely find it the hardest to let go off their precious children especially having sending them to uni hoping that their children will have a better and bright future ahead of them. It's really sad.... it reminds me so much that life indeed is so so so short..nobody knows what will happen to us tomorrow or even the next minute. Do what u want to do today and don't procrastinate if it's important before regretting and realizing that it's too late one day. Live life to the fullest and make the most out of it each day. Life is just short, treasure the ones u loved and even if life does not go the way u want it to be, at least try to live it well and leave some good memories for yourself and the people around you. *
