Lunch Celebration
My cousins booked me two weeks before my birthday so that I can keep lunch on the 22nd free. So I took the train down to the city alone to meet them to meet them and got back safely. I’m starting to remember the routes and am more familiar with it now. We went for yum-cha at this Hong Kong Restaurant @ Chinatown. The yum-cha was great but sorry did not take any pics of that coz the place was packed and there were a lot of ppl. So was kinda paiseh to take every dish that is placed on my table. :D But the yum-cha was not bad. Reminded me of home. Some photos that managed to be taken. Even that, a lot of ppl were already looking at us.

Coffee & High tea Afternoon
After lunch we wanted to go to Melbourne Central to catch “The Other Boleyn Girl” but there was no showing until 4.30 in which I wasn’t able to make it back in time for my party. So we went for coffee instead at one of those alleys in between the streets where the whole stretch of shops are cafes or restaurants. Can’t really remember which alley that was tho but it’s one of those where old barber shops are.
My Iced Latte with Ice Cream. Don’t u think the white spot looks likes a heart shape?? :D
Enjoying our latte

Next, we went shopping because my cousin wanted to buy clothes. She ended up buying a top from Witchery and we had to comment on each piece she tried out. The clothes at Witchery are quite nice in fact and rather unique as compared to Supre’s. But..But..some can be rather expensive unless u r earning Aussie Dollars. *Ka-Ching !!!* After that, we went for high tea @ Chillipadi located in Melbourne Central. Chiilipadi is known for its Malaysian food and it’s featured in International Students’ Guide book. LOL. The tauke and some of workers are from Penang. The Malaysian food there is not bad actually..just that choices of good Malaysian food here is rather limited.

Dinner part-tay
All my 3 housemates planned a dinner party for me that nite. They all cooked for me and Ying Zhen, our chief cook, even bake me my birthday cake. Seriously, my housemates can be professional party planners cos credits have to be given to them for taking care of every aspect from the food to my guests and to the apartment cleanliness. They just seemed like pro. We actually had a lot of food that nite cos some of my guests who came also cooked a dish or two. So, the next few days were leftovers for lunch n dinner. Which in a way was perfect as we did not have to eat out or cook instant. For the first time our fridge really looked more like a fridge than just a junkfood storage or worst…leftover bread storage! LOL. Anyway, my dinner party was great.
Okay...picture time!!

My birthday presents
I just received two more yesterday adding to my collection. Thank you for the lovely cards.
All of my greeting cards nicely arranged with love ;)
When I told mom what my friends did for me and all the presents I’ve got...she said I was lucky to get all those attention and to have so many ppl who love me. Then she went on saying that relative and friends really spoiled me a lot here and she said I am turning into a spoilt princess. Hmph! Not true okay..!!! She also said I get all the nice treatment and is showered with good stuff since I got here. Where got!!?? If I were, I wont have dried hands or nail polish partly gone coz of washing clothes. *boo! :D Anyway, she probably is jealous that I get to have fun and she lacks one driver back home. Wahahaha…Well, I would like to say thank you to all for planning such a great party…every effort is appreciated, for all of the food, for all the birthday cards, sms-es and gifts and for those who helped directly or indirectly. Thank you all~
PS: wait till u get to the bottom of this u would probably hate me so. If not, u would probably be bored to death reading the longest blog post ever. Im sorry guys. I just have too much too share. LOL.
Hugs and Kisses
