It was a windy day in Melbourne today. So as it is mentioned in the forecast i saw the day before. But, little did it mention that the wind was 100 - 130 km/h and it was like a tornado. Boo!! Luckily i was home, safe n sound already that time. Probably u all might think..what's the big deal with the wind?? well, it was so bad that it caused damages in certain places in the city and took a life of a woman as well when the wall collapsed and fell on her. Yes..scary rite??? Sad too..such sudden death. Having said that, the authorities of Bureau of Meteorology advised everyone to stay indoors and our classes have all been canceled due to this. The Tent at the atrium even collapsed and blocked the entrance going the the atrium. My dad said it was normal to see such things in a four season country...well, it's my first time seeing this since i got here. C'mon i saw a McD bag flying in the sky okay and was nearly blown away by the wind while on my way bk today...LOL. Newayz, En Ling showed me the two links to today's news reports.
