LOVE..... afterall, is a game..
Question is, are u game??
Being humans, we do, more often than not, feel scared and insecure. And we cant help it..no matter how much u try to stop thinking about it. Hence, i believe there sure is a good reason as to why we all feel that way.
Like a game of snake and ladders or monopoly, we all hope to win. Truth is, no one likes to lose.
People always try to search for clues and try testing the waters a bit before getting into a relationship or deciding whether to get into one. This, sadly, does not necessarily mean that there are sparks flying or chemistry unleashed between both people as this may just be a method one party uses to see how far he/she is accepted or means in the other person's life. To some, the result will boost their ego and self-esteem whereas some would merely only enjoy the process. More often than not, the other party, if happens to have some positive feelings might probably drop hints or by actions show reassurance or any sort of positive reply. Sometimes, the party who started the game might actually freak out and move a step backward. This may be due to the initiating party realising that he/she probably couldn't give as much or is actually not ready to be in a relationship afterall.
When this happens, because of one party's curiousity or eagerness to search for an answer, without realising, you've hurt the other person and turning him/her into a selfish person who now guards and protects his/her heart with extra extra TLC. Being made known the reason, no one can blame the victim as he/she would obviously give more to protect his/her heart that has once been given out to be scrutinized. Unintentionally and effortlessly, this may lead to them victimizing the next heart in line. That is why there are so many broken souls and hearts out there.
PS: This post is inspired by one of the blogs i frequently visit. i feel that she speaks my mind and her writings are my thoughts exactly. although i may not know her, i somehow feel that i can relate to her in some ways.
love always
