I was chatting with my mom on MSN just now (yeaps..my mom now knows how to use mSN to chat and the webcam..way to go,mom!) and she said they were all going to my grandma’s house for lunch tomorrow and that my grandma’s maid was making laksa. Her laksa is compatible to the ones sold outside. HmmPhh!! Mommie, how could u do this to me knowing that I cant have laksa here??? Mean!! Normally every Sunday during lunch time, grandma...no actually the maid...who is more like part of the family now will cook. Everyweek different menu lo. Sometimes she will cook mee siam, laksa, make popiah, make dumpling, ngo hiang, nasi lemak, fried kueh tiaw, tomato kueh tiaw or bee hoon, kay see mee and lots. I must say..she ‘s a fast learner..she practically mastered all my grandma’s cooking and baking skills too. She can actually stop working for grandma, go back to Indon and open a restaurant. Jahaha…at least that’s how we all used to tease her. She can make Nyonya kuih, traditional Chinese New year cookies and even cheese cake. Aduh mak!! I so miss her cooking!!! Now that im typing this and reminded of laksa...i really feel like having laksa and kay see mee now. Yaya..i know..my appetite has grown since I got here. *shucks!*

PS: I soooo hate having the de-boned and removing the fat of uncooked chicken. Grr!! I don even do that at home…I really understand how mum feels now.
