Bye Bye 2006 and…Hello 2007..!

Happy New Year…!Fuuh! Cant believe it’s 2007 now…I mean it’s like so fast. Years passed so fast which also means…we are getting older and older each year..! Oh well, ages aside. Normally, people all around the world would spent the last day of each year partying and having fun with their friends until 12 a.m. with the purpose of welcoming the New year. Therefore, we girls, did not miss the opportunity to say goodbye and welcome the new yr. I must say, despite the running up and down the shophouses of tabuan rd. and being nomads moving from one place to another, we had a blast last nite. It was sad that Xinyi and Yiping wasn’t able to join us but im sure they were having fun as well. Miss u both a lot..! I did call xinyi when I reached home…yeah, like we all predicted, she was partying at travillion but no worries, our dear fren was still sober. Hehe…don get me wrong, that wasn’t my main point of calling, I called to wish u Happy new year. It’s true…! Just a brief chronology of where we were…First, ying, manda, sunnie, ann-marie and her frens were having dinner at the junk. I went down later to meet them and was so so laucky to get a parking just opposite Junk. Was actually kinda worried I couldn’t find a parking space. Then the girls told me that they have booked a place in Havana so we went there after that. A reservation has been made earlier on but when we got there, guess wad they told us..? nope, not that they didn’t reserve a place for us…but..they did reserve a place for us but they weren’t enough chairs..! I mean, how funny is that..? That’s the 1^st time I heard of anything like that. So, we had no choice but to go to bla bla bla as it was already late n was raining. I’ve never been to bla bla bla or Havana before since its existence. Bla Bla Bla has got pretty nice and unique landscape inside. It’s like this lil’ pond with stepping stones with Koi swimming in it. It’s like a Japanese garden idea. Since they were closing b4 countdown, we had to drink up and leave. As it was near midnite, amanda’s idea was to rush into Havana to join their countdown at 12 since nobody would know we weren’t customers. But, when we reached thr, it was stil early and the ppl inside were looking out at us so we felt rather “pai seh” and ended up at a lounge next to junk operated by the junk as well. It existed recently as well. Oh boy, the bartenders (a male n a female) caught my attention when I first entered. The lady was pretty n gorgeous and she has...STYLE. The male bartender was so good looking. He looks like Utt from MTV, both Ying and I reckoned. Except that he has bigger eyes and smaller face. There..! Enough said! Can u get the picture..? Anywayz, I believe I need not have to tell u ppl so much about our nite..a picture paints a thousand words ya..?(In this case, pictures…) Unfortunately, I’ll have to post the pics up other day. Internet has been really slow in Asia and a few oth places due to the earthquake that struck Taiwan. Gosh..some sites are fine but photobucket is damn slow.Internet cables have to go through Taiwan and need weeks to recover. So we have to bear with them.
